We recarpeted the bedroom wing of our house -- Lamorinda Floors did a fine job. No complaints at all. We weren't very price-sensitive. My guess is that other places might be a little cheaper, but more hassle. We needed to get it done correctly and on time. LF did so.

Great products and Jim knows about all of them. It was a great shopping experience. I will go back in a heartbeat if we decide to change out our carpet again.

Thank you Jim Marshall! I had to redo my Dad's living room and dining room - removing heavily soiled rugs and replacing with wood flooring. I also needed carpeting for two sets of stairs. I recently just had installed in two of my bathrooms and Vanity areas some Lux, vinyl plank flooring (Also known as: LPV) by Lamorinda Floors located in Lafayette, CA.  Mr. Jim Marshall is the long time owner of this long time business and is well known for his quality work with carpets, rugs, and also the newer vinyl covering which has been all the rage due to its warmth, length of service, look (either like wood or masonary).  We contracted with Lamorinda Floors and his craftmen came on time, well prepared and did in what was supposed to be a two day job, completed it in one day which was an enourmoius task. This required removal of all doors, two toilets, and a multitude of baseboards, etc.  They were extremely clean, cordial and had been in this business working for Jim Marshall for over 18 years.  They were exacting to a fault, only completing each part of the task when perfectly done.  The result of the job was breathtaking and I will attempt to do it justice with a picture or two.  They had replaced a cheap rug put in to by the "selling realter" (who puts a light colored rug in a bathroom?) with a product that is so easy to maintain, non-slip and looks amazing.  Its such a delight to see the result and all done at an amazing, extremely competitive price.  Very affortable when you see the job being done and its magificant result.  The real difference with Lamorinda Floors?  It's the quality work being done, the "caring" about just the right match and selection of the product, its color, etc. that enhances the room, and the experience of their craftsman in installing the product.  All put together -- an amazing breathtaking ending.  Do I have any regrets?  Yes!  I have only one---I should have done this much much earlier rather than live in the squalor of a dingy, drab, carpeted master bathroom and guest bathroom.  Thank YOU Jim Marshall and your craftsmen for an exciting result!!  When I need further floor covering, be it carpets, LPV, or any other product you carry, you will be the ONLY person I call!!

Our floor repair work was very smooth. Jim estimated the work, it was very affordable. The work was scheduled and the actual work was finished within a day.
